Outdoor Rec '08

The Ogden Concept to Company contest was the first ever C2C competition. It focused on outdoor recreation and was a great success. Over 120 entries were submitted which far exceeded the expectations. Entries were judged by industry experts from Utah companies such as Black Diamond, Rossignol, Descente and more.

The final day of judging took place Friday September 26th, 2008 at the Amer Sports offices in Ogden. Each of the 11 finalists (9 in-state and 2 out-of-state) presented their idea to the judging panel of industry experts. Judges then asked the tough questions, got the information they needed and ranked the entries. At the end of the presentations the judges met privately to discuss the winners. After an hour-long discussion, an agreement was finally made and the winners were chosen. Below is the a list of the winners and their ideas, along with a press release.
